Today, U.S. News ranks this Hospital as among the top in the nation for children’s care in every specialty evaluated in its “Best Hospitals” survey. Child life provides multidisciplinary recreational activities that help kids better understand their surroundings, minimize the anxiety and stress associated with being in a hospital, and allow them to both express their feelings and meet with peers who are experiencing similar circumstances.
